Our specialties

Autism

Our practice offers compassionate and neurodiversity-affirming care for individuals with autism. Board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist Stacy Greeter and her team of physician assistants specialize in diagnosing autism. Treatment plans for autism vary based on the individual’s age, development, and symptoms. Dr. Greeter has given multiple presentations, available on our website on autism and its complexities.

Diagnosing and Managing Autism

Our clinicians use a thorough, multi-step process to diagnose autism, ensuring accuracy and clarity, emphasizing the client/family’s lived experience and life narrative. We provide both in-person and telepsychiatry consultations for a convenient diagnostic experience. Identifying autism early is crucial to fostering positive self-identity, self-acceptance, and optimal functioning. Our providers work as a team and see the value in collaborating with other mental health professionals to provide the most effective and well-rounded care for autism patients. This collaborative approach ensures support for not only the patient, but also their families and loved ones.

We understand that autism manifests differently in each person. Our team is experienced in working with individuals with highly functioning autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), offering strategies and treatments specifically designed for these conditions.

What makes our practice unique

We collaborate extensively with psychologists, behavioral therapists, nutritionists, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in the care of our autism patients. We pride ourselves on using evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring the highest standard of care.
